Obscure Destinies

Obscure Destinies is a collection of three short stories by Willa Cather, published in 1932. Each story deals with the death of a central character. When Doctor Burleigh told neighbour Rosicky he had a bad heart, Rosicky protested. Wilella Sibert Cather (1873 1947) is an eminent author from the United States. She is perhaps best known for her depictions of U.S. life in novels such as O Pioneers!, My Ántonia, and Death Comes for the Archbishop.
