Claire S. Smith (PhD, Moore Theological College/University of Western Sydney) is an independent researcher, a writer, and a women's Bible teacher. She is the author of God's Good Design: What the Bible Really Says about Men and Women, and Pauline Communities as 'Scholastic Communities': A Study of the Vocabulary of 'Teaching' in 1 Corinthians, 1 and 2 Timothy and Titus.
