The Bible Unveiled
To make it possible for a man to be as honest in his religion as he would like to be in his business; to make him as unafraid in church as he aims to be anywhere else, and to help make him as impatient of a lie on Sunday as he is on any other day of the week, is the object of these studies on the Bible. In this book Mangasarian presents numerous evidences which prove that the Bible is not an authentic book but a compilation of older myths and legends.
Mangasar Magurditch Mangasarian (1859 – 1943) was an American rationalist and secularist of Armenian descent. During his life Mangasarian wrote a number of books. His most popular, including The Truth About Jesus — Is He a Myth? and The Bible Unveiled, deal with the evidence against the existence of an historical Jesus. He also wrote hundreds of essays and lectures on questions of the times. His books and essays were translated into French, German, Spanish, and other foreign languages. The general subject of his writing was religious criticism and the philosophy of religion.
