John Ulrich Giesy (August 6, 1877September 8, 1947) was an American physician, novelist and author. He was one of the early writers in the Sword and Planet genre, with his Jason Croft series.[1] He collaborated with Junius B. Smith on many of his stories.

Frank Lucius Packard (February 2, 1877 February 17, 1942) was a Canadian novelist.
