The story is set in ancient Egypt. At that time the gods rule mankind. Life after death continues in the spiritual world. Naguib is a slave and falls head over heels in love with a servant of his revered Queen. He experiences strong sexual and spiritual powers that elevate him above his fellow slaves and eventually make him a valuable resource in his Temple. Bea Eschen was born in Germany and has lived abroad since 1984. Currently she is at home in Sydney, Australia. Her life to date in South Africa, New Zealand and Australia has given her many experiences that inspire her to write.
