October 31st – All Hallows Eve – marks an ancient festival. This is the time when the veils between this realm and the next grow thin. Now the ancestral dead can be honoured and the spirits from elsewhere might speak to us. Here at the old year’s turning we have the chance to look again and make amends, or follow the same path blindly.
