Systemic parental coaching of nonviolent authority toward violent or self-destructive behavior in children and adolescents serves to re-establish parental presence and is based on a concept by Haim Omer. This path to deescalation speaks to therapists and counselors as well as to concerned parents. In professional contexts there are a number of questions surrounding its use; this workbook addresses these questions in 14 contributions concerning the fundamentals of this method, disorder-specific practical and applied aspects as well as research perspectives.
